Christmas Pictures 2010

I usually am much more on top of the annual Christmas picture than I was this year. For some reason I had not even thought about what we were going to do much less buy them clothes to wear.
I think I will try this tactic again next year. I did not spend tons of time and many stores to get the clothes. Just kind of used what we had and added to it. Was much easier.

Whats not so easy is the actual picture.....

especially when it includes a 2 year old named Logan.
determined to not be a participant

Letting us hear how he feels about the photo shoot

Just plain despair in the fact that he knows Im not going to give up.

Then we go to Larson who wants his picture taken and has all these poses planned for me

At 10 Jackson has it figured out. Just do what the crazy lady tells me to and we can get out of here sooner.

She may look angelic in her pictures but behind the scene she was freaking out. So embarrassed every time that a car would drive by. Oh no someone may see her out with her parents and brothers!

I guess some day I will miss these photo sessions, with wrestling, crying, running away.
It probably will be really boring when they all just stand there and say "Cheeeeeese".

With allot of cropping and some editing, we manage a card worthy of sending out to family and friends.

We used this for the back of the card.
This was our favorite picture. It pretty much sums up our family.
Jordan doing what she does and her 3 brothers happening all around her.

Thanksgiving Day 2010

Larson was so excited about this Turkey decoration that he got to make one night while visiting Jordan's youth group. For 3 weeks I got to hear him ask "When are we going to buy the pineapple?"
Just the 6 of us for this Thanksgiving dinner.
Jordan made the placecards saying what everyone was thankful for.
We started the day with a turkey trot. It was a 5K and Larson seriously came in 2nd place. That boy is just a runner.

Two very crazy girls in native american attire.
Jordan and Mary

After the run, the boys played in an annual football game. No girls allowed!
The rest of the day was spent eating and relaxing with each other.
Very thankful for this day to spend with my family.

You Can Have Your Pie and Wear it Too!

These are our Thanksgiving pies, chocolate pudding with whip cream.
These are our Thanksgiving pies all in our back yard.

These are our blindfolded children coming to the back yard. They have no idea what is about to take place.
A complete ambush from Mom and Dad.
Happy Thanksgiving kids!

The pictures are all blurry but I still want to document this family event.

Buddy getting Tom and Jackson getting Mom
Jackson could not believe this when he took off his blindfold. Game was on for him!

Jordan was not quite sure about this. She thought it was fun but the boys were dominating her not to mention that Mom started her off with a couple good ones to her face. Jordan was laughing and crying at the same time. She was laughing because she thought this was funny but crying because she was worried this would not come out of her hair.

The baby loved it as long as he was the one delivering the pies. If he got some on him, he did not like it very much.

Tom using the baby as a shield.
Half time snack for Larson.
Pies were flying and everyone was laughing so much.

Family Photo
This was so much fun to do. The kids just could not believe it. I think this is a memory that they will always remember.
Even after showers we all still smelled liked chocolate!

Texas Stars Hockey

Larsons first hockey game
The facility was amazing

The dancing was pretty good too

Larson made a sign and tried to get on the jumbo tron all night.

Jordan and her choir sang the national anthem at the beginning of the game.

Larson wearing one of Toms actually hockey jersey. Coincidentally, number 11 which is the number Jackson choose for football.
Larson's comment about the number 11. "Why would anyone pick an odd number, that's just odd. I always want an even number."
He also said his next sport was going to be hockey.
Sorry Larson but not living in Austin, Texas.
Very fun night for the entire family.

Bidding for Bachelors

Either I'm a very good wife or a really bad wife, not quite sure.
I let my husband team up with his twin and be part of his bidding for bachelors charity night.

Chris put together one of the best packages for the night and included a surprise addition with a "double date" with his twin brother and himself.

I think that I will put myself in the good wife category as Chris sold for over $20,000.
This was far and beyond anyones expectations and all went to a good cause.
