Logan Turns 3

Logan decided early on his party was all about cars. I just had to figure out was it regular cars or Disney cars?

Every time that we mentioned his birthday, the first thing that he would say was cars.

Our baby has turned 3!

All together to celebrate with him.

Logan with his "Coty"

He now ask every day, "where is Coty?" and I always say she is at school downtown.

Getting some love from his sister.

The Freezes came over for dinner.

presents
and playtime.

Logan got a little celebration at school. I brought in store bought cupcakes. Things sure have changed since I brought in homemade cupcakes for Jordan when she was 3. Her cupcakes were so intricate and took over 8 hours to make. Logan's took about 10 minutes to pick up a the store. That doesnt mean I love him any less, just means Im alot more busy with the 4 of them.

Logan you are in the 75% for height and weight. Pretty big boy.
There is nothing soft about you. You always want to be wrestling whether it is with your brothers or your mom, makes no difference to you. You love being outside and riding your scooter. So cute watching you do that. 3:00 is a favorite time of the day, when your brothers come home.
3 has always been my most favorite age!

Our Girl

Jordan is our girl that loves cold weather. I guess that is what happens when you are born in Ohio. Such a foreign concept of liking the cold for me.
Well, it was cold in Austin and she got a break from the warm weather.

Harlem Globetrotters

Uncle Chris treated the kids to go see the Harlem Globetrotters.
They loved the show!

Larson picked up a couple of their moves. It has been good for a few laughs at his own basketball games.
Thanks Uncle Chris!

Who is This Kid?

This just isnt the normal look for my boy.

Everyone kept saying that I needed to cut his hair. That it was too long. Well, now it is way too short. He will not be getting a haircut for a very long time from now.

He now looks just like Jackson did.

Not a fan of the short hair but he is the sweetest little monster that we have and the hair will always grow out.

The Week of New Years Eve

We spent about 6 hours doing just about everything that there is to do at Main Event.

(Notice Logan's head down and his lips are out for sure)

Not sure what the pout was about.

It doesnt take long for Jackson to put a lego set together. When he presses a button on this one the building blows up. Pretty cool.

New Year's Eve day was spent at Six Flags.
We were able to have Jake and Gemma with us, two of our most favorite people.

Ice Skating, Texas style (real ice skates on some kind of plastic floor- I guess thats how they can do outdoor ice skating without it melting)
Larson loved it and thought he was a pro skater just after a couple trips around the rink.
Tom even had to take him back because that is all that he wanted to do.

We played the game where you have a bucket of rings and you throw them on the 2 litre glass bottles. No one ever wins this game and we were no different that night.
Larson got on stage and did a lovely Christmas concert.

Logan has been going through a lip pouting stage. He has mastered it quite well. Just makes me laugh. He will learn soon enough, even the cute little lips sticking out wont get him what he wants.

The park was decorated so beautifully. They really do a nice job with Holiday in the Park.

At ease Larson!

The sun goes down and it gets cold. We stayed long enough to see the lights and then we headed out. We went for diner and then drove back to Austin. The kids stayed up but I was asleep 5 minutes after midnight. It was a good 2010!

Lego Creation

If Jackson is in the house, there are basically only 4 things you will find him doing:
(in no particular order)

1. watching TV

2. building with Legos

3. playing video games

4. Reading his current book

He started this creation I bet over 6 months ago.

Its amazing to see all the detail and even more amazing that the thing is still standing after all this time with Logan in the house.

Top Left: workout room. man on treadmill. All of these things have real moving parts.

Top Right: extreme ride that comes off the side of the building just like the one on top of the Stratosphere, Las Vegas.

Bottom Left: Mechanical Bull

Bottom right: Go cart race track

Top left: Patrick playing Billiards. The little balls actually drop down into holes.

Top Right: The News room

Bottom left: Disco with moving Disco ball

Bottom right: snack shop

Other rooms include: smoothie shop, movie theatre, ice cream shop, carnival, arcade, working elevator, bungee jumping, Star Tours Ride, parking lot, lounge with fireplace, engine room, horse stable, and most important, a bathroom.

He wants to design his dream home to look just like this!

Learning Some Line Dances

Here is Jordan with Tracy, the best President everrr and her beehive peeps. I will use any opportunity to break out my white feathered cowboy hat and button down blue jean shirt.

For an activity they had some of the older girls teach all the line dances to our girls.
Jordan loves being with them and wasnt so embaressed of her Mom's dancing. In just a few short months Jordan will be able to attend all the church dances.

Advanced Theatre Play

Jordan was once again cast as a dying person for her class play.
She seems to like that role because she thinks the make up is cool.
Definitely looks like a sick child.
