Choir Banquet 2012

 Freshman year flew by.

Jordan had a great year with many accomplishments.

Off to the choir banquet.

 Bouquet of flowers for me being on the choir board for 2012-13.

This was the first graduating class of seniors and it was a very nice evening for them.

I had such a fun year with her.

Spring Show was kind of weird for me.

They did cuts from a musical called Spring Awakenings.

I do not like that musical at all but I always like watching Jordan on stage.

The believes at the beginning are Jordan's voice.

Sweet Casey came and got her 2 orange roses.

Field Day 2012

 No matter how much of a drought TX is in, plan a field day and you will get rain.

I have to give thanks to everyone involved because it was one of the best field days ever.

With toilet paper the kids had design teams to design Ms. DeGeroge a wedding dress.

Larson looks forward to field day each year and he had so much fun at this one even though it was all inside.

Jackson's Quest 2012

He built this mock city block to show architecture, steel structures, and facts on skyscrapers.

Thanks to Mom for keeping Jackson on task with this huge project.

His presentation was good and the skills he continues to learn in Quest benefits him so much.

His product concept was incorporating springs into the steel beams of the main foundation.  A spring has a push and pull opposing force so it would help with keeping the building from swaying too far one way.

National Honor Society

 One of the goals that we set for Jordan was that she would get inducted into the NHS at the end of her freshman year.

 With a ton of homework and weekly hours studying she was able to achieve this goal.

We are very proud of her as we know this does not just come easy for her.

Larson Quest 2012

 The Great White Shark.

What was so great about this study was that I only had to give some help making the shark.

Larsons habitat, board, and presentation was 100% Larson!

the picture on the bottom left of his board was so funny.  It was him looking up and being surprised by the shark. Very cute.

Buddy's Birthday

Started my day with an early morning run and this is what I came back to.  Jordan set her alarm and had my letters and breakfast waiting.

The funny thing about this is that the night before Jordan and I were up late watching TV.  When we were done I was sitting on the couch blogging.  She did ask a couple of times if I was going to bed.  I did not even think for one second that she wanted me to go to bed so she could decorate.   Poor thing, she gets up early enough as it is.

I had some of the most thoughtful gifts given to me from friends:

small but they all proved to me that they know me so well.

McDonalds gift cards from a couple friends

Logan must have grabbed the yoga shorts and put them on.  We turn around and see him meditating as he often does.  We were all laughing, picture can not show this very well.

Ok, so I got a couple of gifts that werent so little:

a silhouette Cameo cutting machine and 

European Cruise in July with my sister.

The boys went hunting on my actual birthday which was fine with me.  I got to have some girl time and then spend the weekend with the boys.

They brought me these wildflowers back.

My boys were off hunting and tromping around in fields to bring me back flowers!

Girls night out consisted of Tracy, Tracey, Jordan, little Dannelly, and myself.

So grateful for all these girls!

They bring so much laughter and happiness to my life.

I truely had such a wonderful birthday weekend.

Tom and I went to Fogo for dinner by ourselves on Saturday night.

I was showered with love from my family the entire weekend.

I felt very special.

Annual Skip Day

 I skipped out on all my daily duties and Jordan skipped out on school.

Dad stayed with #4 so we could go and have a girls day.

First stop, Hey Cupcake.

 I mean what girl doesnt want her picture taken while in a changing room at the mall.

Yes, she got to shop a lot.

She got to see Hunger Games for the 3rd time even though it was my first.

Ended with a late night dinner at Cheesecake Factory.

It was a pretty good day for us.

Those are just fun happy moments in life.

One very happy undefeated team.

Good friends.

One not so happy team as they lost in the final game.

They had already beat the team that won once this year so they had equal stats and trophies are all the same.

They celebrated at Cups and Cones and got their most coveted trophies for the season.

It will be interesting to see what they boys do as they continue as a team and keep getting older.
