This team trains year round.
This was one of the first practices where all the Freshman joined in.
Went from a very small team to about 40 girls alone. Very different year all the way around.
They always start with the Sun rise show down with Rouse. Competitive but very friendly.
The trophy went to Rouse this year.
One reason I love this sport. It doesnt even matter what team you run for, they all support each other . Its not something you see in the sports worlds.
I love still watching 4 years later.
Just a sea of people sprinting to get in front. This would just freak me out. You would just think they would all fall down and yes, sometimes that happens, then its back to the start line.
Aaron, Jordan, and Corrine
Part of the senior pack.
Zameer is missing.
Sydney had some bad luck this season. Spent most of it in a boot.
Up the hill to a great finish for Jordan. As a senior, still getting a PR. This was her best 5k time running a varsity 6A race.
The girls Viper chant was very cool this year. One advantage of lots of girls on the team. JV in the center going up and down with varsity on outside surrounding them going back and forth. Certainly got everyones attention.
Best friends.
Oh Jordan, Aaron has been so good for you.
Corrine has been an awesome friend too!
Jordan learned a new skill in life and XC was a huge part of her high school experience but this is what it was all about for her.
I remember driving 3 1/2 hours to watch her first meet. I think that she ran 1 mile for about 8 mins. Turned around and drove back to Austin. Dont regret any of it. I loved being there to support her. I can not believe how fast the 4 years went.
