39 weeks, and yes it was two more weeks!

Well, we are about 8 hours away from leaving for the hospital. Kids are all set for tomorrow and my bags are packed. After the Dr's. visit today, he told me not to sneeze and he would see me in the morning. That is kind of funny because since then I have sneezed many times. I have actually picked up a pretty good cold to go with the delivery tomorrow. Baby should be here before noon!
It has been a long time coming and we are all excited. I will post again on Sunday with pictures of our new baby.

Will it be a Girl or Boy???
Larson thinks girl
Jackson thinks girl to make it even
Jordan prays that it is a girl
And Mom and Dad just want a healthy baby whether it is a boy or girl- we dont care!

Hannah Montana

Jordan's first Concert
Ally & AJ opening for Hannah Montana

Hannah Montana herself from behind!

Jordan was able to treat her best friend Mariana to the concert.
Jordan was holding the golden tickets.
Jordan had actually been in bed sick right up until her shower to go. We gave her lots of Motrin and off she went. If she was able to make it, we were not keeping her home. Mariana's Mom took the girls with my ticket. I was too worried that I would have to leave the concert for the hospital and I didn't want that to happen.
We are just glad that she could rally and go to the concert. Hope she is having a great time!

My Aunt Char

Larsons last 24 hours of being Aunt Chars Favorite
What a fun day Larson had with his Aunt Char. He was glued to her side and had a day full of fun and love. They played so many board games together that I could not name them all. I would find Aunt Char hiding under the computer desk or dining room table playing hide and seek. She was seen running around the house playing "Monster". Most of all, Aunt Char gave Larson all the love that he could handle, after all tomorrow there will be a "new favorite" in town.

We're Playing Basketball X Two

Jackson's team name is the "Texas Fighters"

Jackson runs so fast that he is just a blur. OK, not really, I am just such a great photographer that I intended to make this picture look like the athlete pictures of the 80 Olympics. I think that McDonalds ran that campaign. Ok, not really. I have allot of studying before I know how to use my new high tech camera.

Jackson, is this ballet class or basketball????

Size has nothing to do with playing basketball except when you are shooting on a 10ft goal and shooting free throws from the adult line.
So when at a disadvantage do what you do best. Play DEFENSE. Jordan is great at it and loves to go after the ball.

Can you guess who is once again the smallest on the team?? This is nothing new to her.

It does make for a busy Saturday but we had so much fun watching both kids play. We were impressed with how much Jackson understood just after 2 practices. Jordan loves playing basketball and we love watching her go in and around all the "tall people".

Endangered Tigers!

Here is Jackson's latest creation.
He has a school project that included picking a wild animal and reading a non fiction book. Coming up with a creative way to write his 5 favorite facts and making a puppet. We started on Monday and finished him tonight. I don't think that Jackson has named him yet. I just wanted the project finished in case I went to the hospital.
Good job Jackson! Hope you get a good grade!

GNO (Girls Night Out)

AKA Diaper Shower
Last night "the girls" all met at Chillis and had a small diaper shower for me. It was so perfect to just have dessert and socialize with everyone. It had been far too long since we had a girls night out.
Thank you Conni and Minda for putting this together!

All 3 in Primary

Last Sunday all the classes moved up at church. Jordan is in the 11 year class, Jackson is very excited about being in the 8year class as they have baptisms all year, and Larson is now in SUNBEAMS! No more baby church (aka Nursery) for Larson. Of course, Jordan wants it to be very known that she is in senior primary and her little brothers are in junior primary.

Can you tell by the poses Larson gave me that he thinks he is something else being in with the big kids now? We wouldn't expect anything less but his teachers gave us a very good report that he was so good and even spelled his name for them.

Last Pregancy Picture

37 Weeks and hopefully not 2 more!
I thought that I should capture the last picture of me pregnant. I am still bigger than this picture represents. I just wont raise the shirt to prove it. Right now you can not distinguish my calf from my ankle from my foot. They are so swollen that they just blend in together.
Last Friday the Dr. went ahead and scheduled me to be induced on the 25th but he thinks that I will never make it that far and I sure do hope that he is right!
TODAY WOULD BE GREAT WITH ME.

Austin Brings Major Temperature Swings

Today started off very cold and got into the 60's. Larson loves to get all bundled up at the least bit of a chill. So he picks out a full attire of winter clothes and is so proud of himself.
On the way to school he was in his car seat and he kept saying that he was "tight" It isn't easy trying to buckle with all the extra padding.
Thank goodness we are not in cold weather and have to deal with the winter coats and car seats!

Helping Mom by Washing her Car

OK, so I think that Tom paid them $2 each but at least the car was clean. It had been dirty for way too long! I was just too big to bend down and take care of it for myself.
Thank you family for helping me out!

New Years Eve 2007

What a beautiful day in Austin. We decided to take advantage of it and spend the day downtown at a festival called First Night. It is a very "Keep Austin Weird" event but we did have fun doing some unique things.
We spent some time at Zilker Park and then to Town Lake for some rock n' roll spin art, Graffiti the bridge (nice thing to teach our kids), all 3 got lost in a silly string maze.
We finished the night off with a very weird downtown parade and a dinner at Jasons Deli. We did ring in the New Year on Eastern Standard Time but I think the Roberts house was fast asleep when midnight hit Austin.
2007 was a great year for us: We all are healthy and doing well
We spent a great summer vacation on the East Coast and Gulf Shores
Tom passed CFA level one
Family and Friends joined us at the San Antonio temple where we were sealed as a family
Buddy was able to make it through another pregnancy
We celebrated Mom and Dads 50th Anniversary
We felt very blessed this year and look forward to 2008!

The Ford F-150 Monster Truck

Its a good thing that we have an extra garage to park this vehicle in. Larson has been cracking us up with his driving skills: has mastered reverse and forward and has a mean 3 point turn already. We are giving him a week and then we will release a pin that lets him have a faster setting.

This is how it goes so far: Backpack that has a sleeping bag, flashlight, and waterbottle (Pat Pat and Papa got that for him for Christmas, has slept in it every night) hat on backwards, and the radio on. Then he is ready for action!

Christmas Day 2007

This Christmas seemed to be so stress free and relaxed. Not much more that you could ask for. I had 3 good weeks from Thanksgiving on where I just felt so much better and was able to get Christmas all ready and then just enjoy it.

Julia and Uncle Chris came and spent Christmas Eve with us. We loved having them here! We didn't have such a tradition Christmas Eve dinner but it is one that we love- Muffalatas and homemade fries, followed by Toms homemade crepes, YUM!!!! Those are in honor of his Mom who learned to make crepes when living in Paris. That was a tradition that they had in their home growing up.
The kids were pretty wild at this point but somehow we managed to sing Christmas songs, get out the treats for Santa, read the story of Jesus and the Night Before Christmas.
To our surprise, the kids were all snug in bed before we knew it!

Santa certainly made it to the Roberts house; Jordan loving her first official Ipod, Jackson's hand, arm and neck are already feeling the exertion of playing Play Station hour upon hour, and Larson goes out about every 30 minutes cruising in his Monster Truck.

We loved having Tom home for 5 days with us. Just lots of play time and consuming tons of food and treats. Buddy received not just one Digital camera but two! Tom surprised me with my Canon that I have wanted for the last year and Uncle Chris thought it would still be nice to have a small pocket camera for occasions. I felt very spoiled. Eveyone knows how much I love our pictures.

5 Days and Counting!

Larson is Ready for Christmas

Almost 4 years old- What could be better than Santa coming?
Larson has been so much fun this Christmas season. He loves all the decorations and especially making crafts at school. He is very ready for Santa to come. He has asked for one thing and one thing only- Ford -150 Monster Truck and he will add in - the color black. We ask him if he wants other things and he has the same response- Monster Truck. One time he must have been hungry because he told me that he wants Santa to bring him some French Fries!

Jackson in Quest

QUEST
(Quality Utilization and Enrichment of Students Talents)
Jackson presents his Alien Trash to the Quest class and parents

The kids were given specific guidelines and then had to create their own recycled alien. Jackson's group came up with a pollution eating Alien. The head was made out of a peanut butter jar and you cant see here but the back of it was not painted so you could see the filtration system. Jackson came up with the idea where he put toilet paper rolls inside and it cleaned the polluted air and then clean air would come out the top. This is a very typical creation of Jackson!

Happy 50th Anniversary to Mom and Dad

Destin, Florida Nov. 17th-25th, 2007

Charlene brought us all here to celebrate our Mom and Dads 50th Anniversary. Their actual date is this Friday, December 14th!
We are so thankful to have been a part of this celebration. This was our first trip to Destin and we loved the location. The sand and water was just like we were in Mexico. It was such a fun and relaxing week as we spent time as a family. The weather was really good the first part of the week so we had lots of beach time. We were so glad that Grandma Boyd could be with us. You know its not so easy to travel at 89. We got her out to eat and even made it to a movie!
There were so many highlights of the trip but most of all was the time that was spent with everyone.
We love you Mom and Dad and hope for many more years to come.

Larsons First Dentist Trip

Boy are my teeth dirty!!!!!
(Dr. Freeze is really funny)

I was on the phone with a Dr. when they called Larson back. He just went without me and did not care at all. He would drive himself to school if he could reach the pedals.

Continued Halloween pictures 2007

My goal eventually, is to print off this blog and have it be a journal. This being the case, I have to include these pictures from the video so that they can be printed off.
This Halloween seemed to be more in control than last year. We did not have as many parties to go to and that made it easier. All 3 kids really love the Halloween season. Jordan had a pumpkin carving at school. Larson had a costume parade at school as well as a big fall festival. Tom took him to that and said that he was such a good boy and participated in all the activities. We all went to Jordan and Jacksons fall festival at school. One of their favorites is "Trunk or Treat" at our church. This is an huge event and the kids love going from car to car to collect the goods. We also attended our neighborhood party with a real haunted house. We did not stay long because all of the kids were asking to go home and get in bed. Trick or treat night was very warm and a great night for all of us. Larson wanted to go to the doors by himself, imagine that!
