Fall Sports- Jackson Football

Jackson- 8th Grade Football

Pep Rally night at the high school

Jordan sings the National Anthem and Jackson gets to run through the helmet.
Offensive Right Tackle- #75

Not much glory being on the offensive line.  He just goes in and does his job each time.
A huge face mask here with the ref looking right at it.
No Call!

This is the year he became bigger than his Mama.

Larson and Logan determined to catch one of the tshirts shot from the guns.
Determination pays off.
Always holding his man.

The 8th graders had afternoon practices in this Texas heat!

Jacksons littlest fan
Watching Jackson play in the championship game for his division.
They ended up losing and coming in 2nd place for the season.
So proud of this team and Jackson had his best game ever in the first half.
Jackson has some great football friends and loved playing on this team.

Can not believe that he will be a VIPER next year!

Fall Sports- Larson Soccer

Here comes Larson!
2nd Season with Jr. Academy Lonestar Soccer
He came on this team with a lot to learn and he was determined to try his hardest.

He didnt start the year as Keeper but I think the team needed one and I can see Larson just saying I will do it.
The great thing about that is he started to love that position.
He started Keeper training and he really was loving it.

His biggest lesson as keeper was to realize that 6 boys touch that ball before it gets to him.  He's last man standing and then he has to defend the goal.  Its a team sport. A goal scored isnt because of one man on the field.

As season progressed, so did Larson.  He had some great saves at the goal.
Cant save them all.  This was a shot, save, shot, save, and then a goal.
Even though he was scored on here, this was one of my favorite moments of the season.

 Indoor Soccer Training
Jackson was shocked of the level of play these boys are at.
Now it was time for some fun.  Families verses the Lone Star boys.
Almost anything goes in this game of soccer.
This was an incredibly fun afternoon!

 And their off!

 Penalty Kick:
Larson vs Dad
Dad wins!

 Logan vs Jackson
Logan Wins!
Another great season of soccer.  One more season in Jr. Academy.
WE ARE...
LONESTAR!

Fall Sports- Larson Flag Football

Larson has been playing with this flag football team since he was 5.
Good season but I can definitely see soccer becoming a favorite sport for Larson.  Not sure if he will be a football player for much longer.

Fall Sports- Logan

Logan's 2nd Season of Soccer

Kingston, Jamaica Team
Henry is in his Kindergarten class so that worked out well.

A little more engaged this season.
One things for sure he is not going to leave his goal unguarded.  Maybe taking after his big brother.  Keeper position maybe in his future.

Logans Sportsmanship was so good this season.  I dont even think he got mad once and he understood there had to be substitutions.  He was a great cheerleader for all the kids on his team.

 Score!

I think he was defending goal here not scoring.

Fun little season and Coach Brian was great!
And of course the coveted trophy!
