Halloween Zoo Field Trip

1st Grade field trip to the wacky Austin zoo on Halloween day.

The weather was spectacular for the event.

 Funniest animal of the day.

This lion was putting on a show.  She would run as fast as she could kicking the ball in front of her and then would run right up to the fence in front of you.  This was a little concerning to me because if you have ever been to the Austin zoo you realize the enclosures for the animals are not state of the art.  I was completely depending on this chain link fence to hold up.
We stayed here for the longest time.  It was amazing to watch her.
She was pretty far away from the fence as I was leaving.  With each step that I would take she got down a little farther.  She was totally getting into pouncing position.  Within a second she had darted straight towards me.  Scared me but was really fun.  Then I would go past the enclosure where she could not see me and I swear we started playing a game of peek a boo.  I was so mesmerized that I didnt realize the class had gone ahead of me.  So there is no one to back up my story of peek of boo with the lion.  I will tell you it was the truth!!!

Logan and his friend Jackson.
Always love a train ride.

I was very thankful for this time with Logan and his class.
Such a nice day for us.

Halloween 2014

Our little man as Batman!

Larson really felt left out when a lot of his friends went into tackle football this year.
Larson is still playing Select Soccer.

He was happy to wear the uniform even if it was just for Halloween night.
(Still was kicking the soccer ball around everywhere)

Larson, Noah, and Liam went out on their own this year.

Logan got to do a pumpkin book report.
He choose Splat the Cat.

Best Halloween picture.
Every year I have pictures of Jordan and Jackson in matching clothes at fun pumpkin patches.
Sorry #3 and #4, you get the pumpkin bin at Sams Club.
(hey, they were both wearing orange!)

Twins
Good witch or bad witch?

Fun week working at a pediatric dental office.
Dr. Freeze cracked me up as she wore this costume all day floating in and out of treatments.  I gave her a lot of credit.

Granted wishes all day long.

Jordan had to be a Viper Zombie for the choir singing at the Friday night Football game.

Tom and the boys making Halloween treats for his home teaching families.

Jackson didnt do anything with a costume this year but he did hang out with his friends in the neighborhood.

Court of Honor

This court of honor was brought to us by Jackson Roberts.
Part of becoming a Life Scout includes planning and conducting a court of honor.
Jackson had to give out assignments, get the program together, conduct the court of honor, and even have refreshments for after.
He wasnt super comfortable with the conducting but he did a great job and it gives him great experience that they will be able to use in their lives.

 Proud sister.
Proud Mama.

Homecoming 2014

Senior year = all white mum
She took her other one apart and pieced it out to friends.  I thought that was kind of fun.

Freshman football float
(one of many)

Jordan was back to Cross Country this year.  She had to alternate each year between choir and XC.

 Larson getting the loot.

 Jo- Choir duties- National Anthem
They announce the XC team and to be funny, they were the only team not to run across the field.  In fact, they walked pretty slowly taking their time.
On the other hand- football sprinted across the field.
of course, this week had some football to go with it.
Every football picture of Jackson is the same.  Just holding his man.

The night concluded with a great firework show.
Larson and Logan go home with horns, footballs, t-shirts, and bags of candy.
Good luck to all of the teachers tomorrow.
