Power Outages in Austin

A few comments about this day:

1) weird to live in a place that when it gets too cold there is not enough power allotted to keep up with the demand of people using the heat in their homes. Therefore the rolling black outs.

2) Our kids get out of school because it is too cold outside

3) I remember the days of power outages because of ice growing up. We certainly did not have all these electronics to help us pass the time.

This was still early in the morning and it was dark outside and completely dark in the house. The kids faces were glowing with the illumination of electronics. Luckily for them, they were charged.
