Larson's Christmas Party

2012 has certainly been the year of the puffballs
Making a little snow

Classroom ready for a party
 snowing in the reading nook

 Christmas bingo
30 of these cute little gingerbread cookies

Larson making sure that Logan has a great time and doesnt miss out.  Larson very quickly shared everything with Logan.
Noah, Larson, Liam, Andrew, and Jack

Giving Mrs. Fitch some love.
I loved doing this party for Larson.  Larson is so appreciative and so very excited that he had the know with his class party!
All of Larsons classmates were well behaved and lots of thank yous!

Logan as Joseph

I picked up Logan one day from school and he was mooing at me.  He was very excited that he was going to be a cow for the Christmas play.  He was practicing a lot.  A moo here and a moo there.  Well,  he isnt dressed like a cow is he??  His teacher needed him to be Joseph.  At first he was not OK with this but he ended up doing a great job.
He liked his costume.
Here he is practicing.  The funny thing is he doesnt even say anything for the play.
Translation:  Um, Jesus been born,  amen.
He was so adorable.  Logan picked up the baby and hands him to Mary.  Logan wants everyone to know the baby was just a doll.  The baby was not real.  Logan was very concerned with this fact.

Logan enjoyed being Joseph but his favorite part was when the cows were mooing.

And of course getting some cake to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Christmas With Aunt Char, Petra, and Giselle

Santa Clause is getting ready to come to town but Aunt Char beat him.
Our December weather was warmer than normal.
We were going off for a busy day and a last second change.  We ended up at the pool with the boys.
Its always fun to swim in December just because we can.
These two are Siamese twins.  They are true sisters and never want to be apart.
We get to keep Petra and Giselle over the next month.
Kids are super excited!
Me too, but I'm sure there will be some doggy stories to be told.
Christmas decorations are up.
These cute little nutcrackers are a gift from Char.
A very cool addition to the Christmas decor.
A relaxing Sunday night after a great FHE lesson by Larson.
Best Friends or at least Logan looks at it that way.
We had a great time together.  Here we met Colby downtown at Perrys for dinner.
We did a ton of shopping, eating at the usual spots and even got in a movie.
It is always fun to have Char in town.

What a great start to December!

Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving day at our house was very calm this year.
It was just our 6 plus Uncle Chris and his friend Michael.

Larson, Dancing with the Stars Thanksgiving style.

 Turkey #1-Larson
Turkey #2- Logan

We watched parades, ate a lot of food, a ping pong tournament, and thankful to all be healthy and spending a great family day together.

South Padre

I love that we get a week break for Thanksgiving.  Such a great way to start the holidays.  Tom decided that we should go to South Padre Island.
This was the last time that Tom had been to Padre about 26 years ago.
How things have changed!
The weather was great and it was time to relax and play.

Tom and Buddy on the beach.
Its a great place for us to be.

Jordan and I were able to run, relax, and totally be silly together.

Jordan and I stayed out on the beach later than everyone.  We were having so much fun.  We played paddle ball forever and laughed forever taking crazy pictures.

Tom and I use to go to a restaurant in Savannah when we were dating called The Pirates House.  Ever since we have had an affection for pirates.

Dinner where there were quite a few pirates around.

Hotel was on the beach.  All we had to do was walk out and we would spend the day there.
Jordan goofing off
and being pretty darn cute.

There were not many people on the beach so I let the boys have some fun.  They took bread out to the beach and the seagulls went crazy.

These are the best days!
So much to be thankful for.
Jordan got to go see her friend Chris that she had met at EFY this summer.
