Orlando 2014

The L's on the ferry over to Magic Kingdom

It took a little while for me to like the idea of not having the entire family together.  I use to bring Jordan and Jackson to Disney all the time.  So we decided to just bring Larson and Logan.

When we told Jordan and Jackson they were both so sweet and happy that their little brothers were going to Disney.
William, Julia, and Caroline.
Our play mates for the day.
First stop was the Dwarfs new Mine Ride.
It was so great.  Smoothest coaster ever.  The dwarfs are so cute.  Just wish the ride was a little longer.

Visiting Eeyore's house.
Having such a great day!!!
It's a Small World, Jungle Cruise, and Buzz LightYear.
Enjoying a train ride for Papa.
Even the Speedway was not a long line at all!!!!

Larson couldn't wait to do all 3 mountains.
Logan loved riding Space Mountain!!!
Fast Pass on Splash Mountain.

Logan loves all the big rides.
HE LOVES THUNDER MOUNTAIN!
I love this picture of him.  He might be having a little fun!
Our 4 littles.

We had the most fabulous day at Magic Kingdom.
We still had 5 hours of fun left.
The boys and I caught the Electric Parade and then Castle fireworks.

Riding the Mine ride again.  This time at night time.  Loved riding it in the dark.

A very cool spinning toy.
We made it straight to midnight.
The boys were so sweet the entire day.
They were melting my heart walking to the parking lot.
They were so tired but just kept saying best day ever and thanking me.
The Kane pool has a really big swan in it.
Hanging with my bestie!
So we were at Blizzard Beach waiting for them to open and the next thing we know,
we are honorary citizens for the day.
We all get escorted in before the park opens.  They escort us to a private ski patrol cabana.
Julia runs through a tunnel of lifeguards and gets lots of high fives.
Then Julia and Larson get on the ski lift up to Summit Plummit.
They do the countdown and Julia takes the plunge opening the park for the day.
Quite an exciting way to start our day.

So weird for Caroline and I to just have half of our kids but thats what happens when they get so old.
The young ones keep us young.
Yes, the ice cream sundae in a bucket.
Just because!
This is how much fun we had at Blizzard Beach.

We missed having Dad, Jordan, and Jackson with us but I loved my personal time with the L's!!!
 Downtown Disney
Leggo store has the Dwarfs!
Really?  Stitch?  Your sure Logan?  Do you know who Stitch is?
He loves Stitch.
Stitch is going to go live with us in Texas.

North Carolina

Who would have ever thought that I would be getting Welcome homes in NC from the Hanson gang at the very house I grew up in???

Leave it up to Tracey to bring me a cake.

Sam and Logan reunited.
It really did surprise me that they acted like they had never been apart.

Logan getting to share his Pat Pats farm .

This is Ellie, the horse, not to be confused with Elly, the Hanson.
Ellie is actually a wild mustang that was rescued and my Dad took it in as the owner got cancer.  My Dad didnt realize he too had cancer.  So ends up that Jackie, my sister keeps Ellie so Haylie could have a horse.

So riding Ellie is short lived as she is not all the way trained but it was fun for the kids to get a ride.
Free pony rides at the Foss'

Elly on Ellie

Flip Flops and Bareback
This horse was fun to ride too.  I just kept thinking my Dad would be so happy to see kids out on the horse swing.

It's really crazy, because all of my best friends came after I left NC.  A lot of them have actually been right here where I grew up and we sat in my actual bedroom and would talk.  Just a full circle and a deeper understanding of Buddy.

Logan loves being at Pat Pat's

Really going old school with Tracey.  She already shot down my Biscuitville.  So I thought I would share Zacks with her.
All Foss' love hot dogs.

Sure Tracey, Logan would love to have his first friend sleep over with Sam.  Im sure he will be a very good boy.
I can tell that Logan misses me already.

The Hansons have the cutest home in Raleigh.
Front porch and hanging plants included.
I think I like this picture better with Logan photo bombing.

These two hanging out at the movies.
Jordan was able to take Pat Pat to see The Fault in Our Stars.

A dinner out.

Pat Pat holding Emmerson.
Brian had Logan way too energized!

The Debruin Family
This was a hot, sweaty run in NC.

Durham Nature and Science Center

I know it was hot for Mom but we made her come with us.

Haylie and Larson
Im pretty sure Mom was happy being with us all day.
Sailing boats
The kids loved this.

Misting fields to cool us off.
This certainly helped Mom.

Time to come in and cool off.

Jordan had to fill in for Jackson as Sages sidekick.
Jackson had to go back to Texas to play football.

Larson enduring another 6 hours in the car making our way back to HHI.
NC was a nice stop on our trip.
Loved spending time with Mom and yes, all the others.
