Huntin Bash for the Boys

So these 2 were in a car accident the night before and were in the hospital.
Jordan's arm and hand took a pretty good beating in the accident.
Tons of friends stopped by to check in.

Jacksons face was burned from the air bag and his one eye had cuts on the cornea.  Pretty tough for him but he didn't want Larson to be sad so he had a smile all night.

After a very long night, of course we would have to cancel the boys party.....  that didn't happen.  Everyone rallied and the party was a go.

A huge bag of goodies arrived for the kids from NC.  Tracey and family were very concerned and being a part of the constant update from the accident.

Kind of a Hunting/Duck Dynasty theme for these 15 and 11 year old boys.

PHOTO BOOTH!!!

Lots of deer to be hunted at this party.

Target Practice
Gemma got to stop by and check on Jordan.

Love that these 2 boys have celebrated their birthdays together year after year.

Not sure how any of us were still standing here but we sure did set things aside and celebrate Jaxs and Lars bday. Thanks for all the support on the boys bday celebration.
So great to have close friends with us!

Our deer piñata!

Lots of people stopped by the house to check on the kids.  The funniest was the one of the sister missionaries was being transferred and she wanted a picture with our family.  Well, with us looking like we did, she sure would have a good story to tell of her time in Texas and this one family.

Mrs. Kane Comes to Austin

Always amazing to have your bestie come to town.
Welcome Caroline!

First stop were the piñata shops.   A little black on Rudolphs nose and we have a buck for the win!

El Arroyo lunch down town.
So excited that we are together.
Freezing!!!  Even spitting a little sleet but we still ventured up to Mt. Bonnell.

Rudys BBQ.  Not only good food but lots of good conversation.  Great catching  up in person.

Downtown dinner
Cassie and Jordan went with us to see the show.

Really was not the best show we have ever seen.  The one song was worth the entire show.  That part was amazing.
During the show, Jordan found out she did not get accepted to BYU-Utah.  She could have cared less as this girls heart is set on attending BYU-Hawaii.
(Caroline and I were laughing that she wasn't even the least bummed out)
Some things are meant to be.

Great timing for a visit.  Caroline got to be a part of our family birthday party for the boys!

We look good in camp!
(Caroline was rocking this hat!)

So above I mentioned some things are meant to be. Timing to have Caroline by my side as we got the news of the accident was no less than exactly what I needed during this time.  Could not have been more blessed to have her by my side.
Sorry Caroline!  You know it wouldn't be the same if 911 or hospitals were not included while you are with me. Oh my, we have had our share.
Thank you Thank you Thank you for being with me and my family during this time.

We managed a quick trip to South Congress before the airport.
Kendra Scott an Austin must!

The weather was horrible the entire time she was here.  Literally could not see the beauty of Austin but in 4 days we covered so much of Austin and spent every moment enjoying each others company.  There is never a good time for a mama of 5 to leave and come visit but God certainly puts people where they are suppose to be.  You were a rock for me and the kids.  Tom certainly loved having you here.  You are the best of the best Caroline.  Im so lucky to call you my BFF.
Had tons of fun with you keeping Austin weird!
