NC Visit

The second I heard that Mom brought Boydie home from Canada, I knew I would be flying to NC.
I never knew what it was like to have a Grandpa but I have been blessed to have my Grandma for all 44 years.

Plus, there were lots of other bonus people too.
Got to hang out with Ashley and her family.
Im a great Aunt to this little cute bug.
(Ugh that makes me sound so old)

Just a regular old Aunt to this one.
Dont know where Haylie was for picture time.
Girls and their bows and thumbs
 Just missing Kathe here.

I would definitely say shes my Mom.
I got to see these girls too!

I enjoyed my short stay.  Glad that I got to spend what time I could there.
Its always nice to be able to see Boydie enjoying NC.

Top Golf

The kids had off school today so I planned a really fun day for us.
Top Golf was one of our stops.
This place is so much fun.  You dont have to be good at golf to play.  Of course, some have a better swing than others.

Logan taking a break.

Top Golf is an amazing driving range and we had an amazing time.
And the winner......  was Mom.
(Like I said, you dont have to be a very good golfer.)

First Day of School 2014

My 2 Vandy kids
Its been a few years since they have been in the same school together.
We have really been looking forward to this year as this will be the only year they will be at VHS together.

Jordan is a senior!!!!!!!!
This will certainly be the year of the tear for me.
Jackson is a Freshman at VHS
9th grade
He grew a little over the last year.

He laughed when he saw his pancakes but he loved them and gave me a big hug.
I guess hes not too big for that.

Larson is entering his last year of elementary school at River Ridge Elementary.
I am sure that he will continue to grow and share his talents with everyone he comes into contact with.

OK, Logan isn't a kindergartner anymore.
Entering first grade and I'm sure it wont be long before I'm typing VHS with him.

My kids have always been so excited about all the little details in their lives.  This has always made me happy.   Doesn't take any more time to make these little letters and numbers. Its worth them knowing that first day is special each year.

Kitchen is cluttered and they are ready to go.

 Off to the bus.

And with that, another school year begins!

Clowning Around with Logan

The circus has always been a great memory for me with each of our kids.
Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey shows are very entertaining.
Pre show down on the circus floor.

After each act, Logan would ask "Is it over".  Not that he wanted to go home but he was enjoying each one and could not believe there was more.

Logan picked a light up laser gun.  Hard decision between that and the tiger cup and the stuffed elephant, and the .......   This took a while.
(who knew that they guarantee all their products from breaking for 3 years!)

Great night with Logan.  On the way home at 11:00, he asks where we can get something to eat?
Pull in to driveway at 11:45 and he is still wide awake talking about the night.
This kid doesnt have an off button.
Tom and I think his nickname should be "AO" for Always On.
