Fall Sports- Jordan XC

Jordan eager to get XC season started.
This is at St. Stephens and for the 2 past years has always had a PR here.  This is her favorite trail.
Yes, another PR here.
This is her 3rd year with her team and she loves it.
One thing is for sure, Sydney and Jordan have become best friends!
They are so perfect for each other.
The one thing that makes me laugh is that Sydney is super super athletic and does many workouts a day.  Its very common for Jordan to come home the next day and be so sore she cant move.  That would be because when they are together Sydney has her doing some crazy workout that she would have never done. Ha Ha!  I love it!

Always cheering each other on.
Something that I learned from Sydneys Mom this season is that she never asks Sydney first what her time was but she says something like, "I loved being here today and seeing you run"  I very quickly picked that up because yes always curious about the time but no matter what I really love being at all the meets and just watching them compete.
Girls Varsity Team.
Jordan started off on JV and was captain and running #1 but earned a spot on varsity.

Junior year has been the best as far as team spirit.  These kids were great.  JV and Varsity mingled as one team.

Coach Helm and Coach Jones

Shocked Jordan did this.  Everyone was laughing when they took the picture because Jordan barely had her shirt up.  You couldnt see the "C".  I was even laughing.

This was an incredibly hot run and Jordan hates the heat and running.  I was really proud of her on this one.  She killed her time and I could tell she was struggling.  She was so happy but was fighting getting sick at the finish line.
The boys and girls.

Girls Running at District.  Came in 3rd.

1st Place at Region!
Going to State.
Jordan and the entire team very excited.  Last year the team didnt make it, just Sydney as an individual.

Leaving for state!

This was such an exciting day for the girls.  Just being there and experiencing it all.

Ashleys little sister was running in state so her family was in Austin for the weekend.  Jordan was able to hang out with them.

The girls came in 10th and I guess was expected to do better than that but I thought they did great and was such a neat experience.  Only Top 7 run so Jordan was just an alternate for this race.  She basically ran the entire race though----  She was right there cheering Sydney on!!!

XC Banquet
You dont see these girls like this very often.
Jordan hates to see the season end.  They still run together every morning as XC is a class and they train year round but in season is by far her favorite.
I can not believe that Jordan's Senior XC year is next.
If you see me crying at the meets, you will know why!
