Troy had a job interview in Victoria, TX. They could fly into San Antonio or Austin. When Michelle heard this, it was very clear that they were flying into Austin!!!!!! That was a great phone call hearing that they were going to be able to visit with us.
We met the Scribners in Cincinnati while Troy finished his residency. I remember meeting Michelle at a Relief Society night. We cant remember who told her this but they told Michelle that we probably would not become close friends. Well, many years later and 9 kids total, we are still very close.
We only had a few hours to be together and this was Michelles idea: She did not want me to make dinner because she wanted us to be able to sit and just talk.
Very thankful for the few hours we got to be together. I have a knack for long distance relationships but in person is always better.
Thanks so much for making the extra effort Troy and Michelle.
Even though it would be nice for us to have you in Texas, we hope you will be able to stay in California!
